It is one of the most popular beaches in the province and the natural continuation of the beach of Malvarrosa. The continuing beach is Port Saplaya, which is a lovely area throughout the year and, because of the shapes and colours of its architecture, as well as the small inner canals, it is commonly known as The Little Venice. In its surroundings you will find a long promenade, a shopping centre, numerous restaurants with terrace and cafeterias.
Only 10 minutes by car from Valencia capital, this neighbourhood is an ideal starting point to visit the most well-known beaches of the city and some nearby towns like El Puig, whose 13th century monastery will make you come back to the ancient times, or the historic city of Sagunto, distinguished by its Roman castle and its Jewish quarter.

The Patacona’s beach, in Alboraya's municipality is a required visit during your stay in Valencia. It is the natural continuation of the Malvarrosa’s beach, of which it shares all the leisure and gastronomic services. This area keeps the charm during the summer season, as well as in the winter. At 400 meters of the apartment one finds the maritime promenade with all kinds of services and facilities for leisure, fashionable restaurants at the famous arrocerías (restaurants specialized in paella), parasols and hammocks service in the beach, facilities of volleyball beach, showers, etc. In the near neighborhood of Malvarrosa there are supermarkets and ATM, as well as the known museum of the Valencian writer Vicente Blasco Ibáñez.
The “horchata” is the typical drink of Valencia and its cultive, typical in all the north area of Valencia, has its epicentre in Alboraya's locality, municipality to which the Patacona’s beach belongs For it, is quite frequent to find here, specialized places called “horchateria” where to taste it, another required visit!

Sin embargo, nos apena que durante la estancia no nos hayáis comunicado si habéis tenido algún problema con la persiana, ya que nuestro compañero de mantenimiento se hubiera acercado a revisarlo, sabiendo ahora sin duda lo solventaremos así como lo que comentas de las sartenes. En cuanto a las cucarachas, Valencia por desgracia está vinculada a estos animalitos en la época estival, antes de iniciar el verano se hace una desinfección en el edificio y además el ayuntamiento también lo hace en sus calles, no obstante recomendamos cuando no estéis en casa dejar ventanas cerradas para evitar que pueda surgir alguna visita no deseada.
